Sponsorship
Sponsors pay your club for its name on their shirts and their name on your stadium. Your club can have one kit sponsor and one stadium sponsor at a time, and each deal pays a lump sum the moment you sign it. You will find your deals and the offers on the table under Club > Sponsors.
Signing a sponsor
Each offer shows the sponsor, how much it pays and how many weeks the deal lasts. Sign the one you want, and the whole amount goes into your bank balance straight away. That is the only payment: nothing more comes in week by week, so do not expect to see sponsorship in your weekly finances.
Deals run for between 10 and 19 weeks. The money depends on your division, with the biggest deals in the top division, and on the length of the deal: a longer deal pays more.
Sign a sponsor as soon as you can. An empty slot earns your club nothing, and a new manager should make it one of his first jobs.
When a deal ends
A deal counts down each week. You get a news item in its last week, and when it runs out the slot is free again, with new offers on the sponsors page. There is nothing to pay and nothing more to receive when a deal ends, and a deal carries on from one season into the next.
New offers can arrive each week while you have a slot to fill, so if you do not like the offers on the table, you can wait for better ones.
Your stadium sponsor on match day
Your stadium sponsor is named in the match report of every home match.
