How do I qualify for the cup competitions?

League Cup - All teams are entered into the relevant league cup at the start of the season regardless of where they finished last season. A number of teams will have a "bye" and so will not have a cup game in the first round.

Uefa Cup - The teams that finished in positions 2-5 of the top division in their league will be entered into the Uefa Cup the following season. This means that there are 32 teams entered into the Uefa Cup.

Champions League - The teams that finished top of their league in the previous season will be entered into the Champions League. This means that there will be 8 teams in the Champions League.

I won the Uefa Cup/Champions League last season. Why have I not been entered automatically to defend my title?

The previous title holders do not automatically qualify for the same competition in the following season. To re-enter the competition it is necessary to qualify like all other teams.

Will my club receive money for winning a cup?

The winner of a cup competition will receive prize money which goes to the club. The clubs board members will decide how much of this money will be made available to the manager for spending on improving the team.
