Player Contracts

Each player signs a contract for a number of seasons when he joins a club. As the contract comes to an end, the club has a chance to extend the contract length. Longer contracts typically mean higher wages.

Players out of contract at the start of a new season can be put up on open auction. Players sold will sign a new 2 year contract with their new club.

Note: contracts are quoted in terms of seasons. A player signing in the pre-season period with a 2 year contract is guaranteed for the current season and the next season.
