SMS Messages
What are SMS messages?
SMS messages (also known as text messages) are short text messages that you can receive on most mobile phones.
How can I receive SMS messages from FootieManager on my phone?
To receive SMS messages you need to pre-buy a number of SMS credits. This can be done from your SMS settings page.
How much does it cost to receive SMS messages?
We have tried to keep the cost of these at the normal UK prices of around 10p. It does not cost anything else to receive these text messages. Note that if you take your mobile phone outside of your home country your network operator may add a small charge to your bill for receiving an SMS message whilst abroad. Please check with your network operator if you are unsure.
What happens if I am abroad?
If your phone is able to receive international calls whilst abroad then you will still be able to receive the FootieManager SMS messages. Please note the possible extra cost mentioned above.
What if my phone is switched off or there is a phone network problem?
If your mobile phone is switched off, the SMS message will normally be waiting for you when you switch it back on again. FootieManager monitors the phone network and if there is a problem sending you your SMS, no message will be sent and no SMS credits will be taken from your account.
